The Catalyst
The Catalyst appears to be a opening to a thriller. The sequence isn't fast paced at all which is usually one of the genre conventions of a thriller. Other genre conventions included in this sequence is the part where one of the guys are running away from the person recently shot and also the part where the shooter is sat waiting in the back of the car where he has killed the driver and then when the other dealer comes into the car he is then killed by the assassin.
